I have a list a mile long why this is going to be awesome, but we all know you wouldn’t read it If I shared so here is a few quick points
- We get superheroes that hasn’t hit their groove, both on their own and as a team. Their interactions will be just important as their fights against villains.
- Aqualad is far more badass than Aquaman
- Superboy? Yes please.
- Aren’t we little tired of Batman? The main superheroes are a bit over-exposed so I’m glad to see characters that aren’t normally recognized.
- We can expect the adult versions of the heroes to appear once and awhile and interact with the team. For that hero, it will be like bring your dad to class day and is going to suck if they are trying to get out of their dad’s shadow or just prove themselves.
- There will be deaths. The creators have already announced that people will be dying and it great to see a DC cartoon go there. My guess for the first death: Red Arrow.
You need to watch this show because if it ends up being canceled like all my favorite shows (Firefly, Pushing Daises) then I will be one very unhappy blogger.
