On paper, the Blue Beetle is the perfect superhero for a TV show. Jaime Reyes was a normal kid until he found the Blue Beetle scarab that fused with him and granted him powers. Even after he became a super hero he was still a kid and a goof. This means you would get all the “Boy Meets World” with your super powered fighting. Unfortunately, this first look shows just how bad the idea is. The CGI looks horrible and the character was annoying even within this minute preview. I really hope this show never sees the light of day.
